A blogger posted on a social platform that Apple's $2,000 iPhone Ultra returns to fingerprint recognition, which feels like a dream. According to reports, the iPhone Ultra has cut off the Face ID facial recognition solution and returned to Touch ID. Apple has integrated the fingerprint recognition function into the power button.

Analysts pointed out that the overall thickness of the Phone Ultra is thinner than the iPhone Air, and Apple cannot fit two sets of Face ID modules into such a thin body. Limited by the thickness and space of the fuselage, Apple can only settle for the next best thing and choose a side fingerprint recognition solution.

In addition, iPhone Ultra has also abandoned the pill screen form that it has persisted for many years and switched to a single-hole screen, which is consistent with the current mainstream solution in the Android camp.

According to the exposed information, the iPhone Ultra’s outer screen front-facing punch hole is placed in the center, and the unfolded inner screen front-facing punch hole is set in the upper left corner of the screen.

In terms of hardware, the machine is equipped with a 5.3-inch external screen and a 7.8-inch internal screen. It is equipped with Apple's latest A20 Pro flagship chip for the first time. It has a rear 48-megapixel dual camera and a built-in battery capacity exceeding 5000mAh. The new product will be officially released this fall.
