Netizens recently released a video showing that an MPV and a PIX driverless minibus RoboBus collided on a road somewhere in Guiyang. At the time of the accident, there were passengers inside the RoboBus.However, because the vehicle has a single-door design, and the MPV that collided with it blocked the door, the passengers in the car were blocked and unable to get out of the vehicle.

Judging from the accident scene, both vehicles were traveling at a slow speed, and there were obvious scratches on the driver's side of the MPV, but there was no structural damage to either vehicle.

As for the specific cause of the accident, more official details are needed.

It is understood that PIX RoboBus is an L4 driverless minibus launched by PIX Moving, a local autonomous driving company in Guiyang.

RoboBus adopts a capsule body design without a traditional cockpit. The interior space is transparent and 6-15 seats can be flexibly configured according to the scene.

The vehicle is equipped with PIX's self-developed modular skateboard chassis and integrates steering by wire, brake by wire and drive by wire, providing a complete execution basis for the upper-layer autonomous driving system.

In Guiyang, RoboBus has launched demonstration operations in high-tech zones, Shubo Avenue and other sections, undertaking tasks such as commuting in parks and connecting scenic spots. The operating speed of the vehicle is set at 20-40 km/h, and the minimum turning radius is only 7 meters, making it suitable for narrow streets and complex road conditions.
