The overall price is $100 higher than the launch of the previous generation.

This update not only changes the chip, but also brings new colors and higher configuration limits. Both products come standard with 16GB of memory, with Surface Pro 12 starting at 256GB and Surface Laptop 8 starting at 512GB SSD.

In terms of appearance, the 13.8-inch Surface Laptop has added new color options, but the 15-inch version is only available in platinum and black. Microsoft will also launch X2 versions of Surface Laptop 8 and Surface Pro 12 for the enterprise market, which are expected to be available on July 14. The enterprise version starts at $1,649.99.
Microsoft also emphasized that the graphics performance of the new generation X2 Surface has been significantly improved while still maintaining excellent battery life, claiming that it can last up to 15.5 hours.
