It is reported that WeChat has begun grayscale testing of AI assistant "Xiaowei". According to actual feedback from netizens, some users recently added a green logo in the upper left corner of the main page after opening WeChat. After clicking to enter, an AI tool named "Xiaowei" is displayed, with "Beta Version" marked at the top; or they can also enter through the dialog menu bar and other places. Currently, this tool is still in beta testing.
In terms of functions, Xiaowei supports chat, file summary, reminder settings, music recommendations, and the creation of personalized gadgets based on natural language.
Among them, the function of “generating small programs in one sentence” has attracted much attention.
Users can directly enter instructions, and Xiaowei will generate a usable mini program prototype with basic pages, record buttons and other elements. Users can further request to modify the style.
However, the currently generated mini programs are only for the user’s own use and cannot be shared with others.
