The reporter learned on the 22nd that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued a notice to publicly solicit opinions on multiple industry standard formulation and revision plan projects. The standards to be formulated this time include technical requirements for humanoid robots in substations, home appliance manufacturing and other scenarios.

The substation is the "heart" of the power grid. Existing intelligent inspections of substations mainly rely on wheeled or crawler robots. However, about 30% of inspection points in substations are "blind spots" that wheeled robots cannot cover. Humanoid robots can effectively make up for the shortcomings of existing inspection robots with their human-like movement forms, bipedal walking capabilities, and multi-joint collaborative operation capabilities. Currently, the lack of standards has become a bottleneck restricting the large-scale application of humanoid robots in substations.

The main technical contents of the proposed "Technical Requirements for Humanoid Robots in Substation Scenarios" include establishing a terminology system applicable to humanoid robots in substations, stipulating technical requirements for humanoid robots in substations from eight aspects, and stipulating the full-process management of the application of humanoid robots in substations. It will provide the industry with a unified technical basis and testing and evaluation methods, and solve the application dilemma of "dare not to use, cannot use, difficult to use".

In terms of home appliance manufacturing, many domestic smart home appliance companies are currently using humanoid robots to perform tasks in smart home appliance manufacturing factories. The evaluation standards for the performance of humanoid robots in the home appliance manufacturing industry are particularly important.

The proposed "Technical Requirements for Humanoid Robots in Home Appliance Manufacturing Scenarios" proposes an evaluation index system for the performance of humanoid robots in home appliance manufacturing scenarios and describes the evaluation methods and other contents. It will provide manufacturers with a clear direction for technological development. It can also help users more effectively evaluate and optimize the working performance of humanoid robots, and provide a reference basis for the application evaluation of humanoid robots in other fields.

In addition, other standards applied for project approval this time include the "Humanoid Robot and Embodied Intelligence After-sales Service Specifications" and "General Technical Requirements for Humanoid Robot Interconnection Systems".
