According to IGN, after Nintendo officially announced that the remake of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" has been under development for 10 years, the remake plan of the folk master has been suspended, and the author has shifted to other remake projects.

CryZENx is one of the developers working on the unofficial remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Currently, due to copyright issues, the audio and video is restricted on multiple platforms. However, around 2015, he publicly reproduced the animation of the original Novice Village using Unreal Engine 4.

Afterwards, the development environment was transferred to Unreal Engine 5, and maps of the Temple of Time, Death Mountain Hiking Trail, Goron City, etc. were created. Distribution of the build was made as progress was made. Elements such as ocarina playing, combat, and dialogue with NPCs have also been installed.

·Nintendo recently announced that it will release an official fully remastered version in 2026. CryZENx was very happy about this announcement, saying on Patreon that it would start remaking other Nintendo-related works on the grounds that "I don't really want to step nintendo on their way (cannot affect Nintendo)". And the remake project of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" announced on June 13 has been officially suspended.

·CryZENx apologized for the expectations of supporters and stated that even if it does not proactively suspend the project, Nintendo will ask to stop it sooner or later.
