Today, June 23, Nintendo reiterated that the price change plan for its Nintendo Switch Online online service remains unchanged, and the price is scheduled to increase by nearly 30% starting from July 1.
"Nintendo Switch Online" is a paid service where players can use the Nintendo Switch platform to play main online games and classic games, as well as the music distribution application "Nintendo Music" for smartphones.
Nintendo announced that it will increase service prices starting on July 1st. The price of the individual plan has been changed from 306 yen (tax included) to 400 yen (tax included) for one month. The price for 12 months is 2,400 yen (tax included) rising to 3,000 yen (tax included).
In addition, the individual plan (12 months) of "Nintendo Switch Online + Add-on Pack" will be changed from 4,900 yen (tax included) to 5,900 yen (tax included).
