As Rockstar Games officially announced the price and pre-order window of "GTA6", some Xbox players have successfully redeemed the digital version of the game through Microsoft Rewards, achieving "zero dollar purchase".

Rockstar Games confirmed that the standard version of "GTA6" is priced at US$79.99 (approximately RMB 580), and the ultimate edition is priced at US$99.99 (approximately RMB 725). The Ultimate Edition will include some exclusive game content, and players will have to pay more to get the full experience. Pre-orders for the game are currently available through the Microsoft Store and other retailers.
It is worth noting that physical discs will not be provided during the initial release of the game, and digital downloads will become the only way for players to experience "GTA6".
A Reddit user shared a screenshot of the successful redemption in the Microsoft Rewards subreddit. According to current redemption rules, redeeming a $100 Xbox gift card costs 110,000 Microsoft Rewards points.

Players can accumulate points in the following ways:
Bing search:Use Bing to search for different topics every day
Daily check-in:Complete daily check-ins on Bing or Xbox platforms
Interesting questions and answers:Participate in daily quizzes and activity tasks
It is worth noting that Xbox gift cards redeemed through Microsoft Rewards points are valid for 90 days. Since "GTA6" will be officially released on November 19, it is recommended that players redeem their gift cards as the release date approaches to avoid expiration of the gift card.

In addition to Xbox gift cards, Microsoft Rewards points can also be redeemed for digital gift cards from Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and other retailers. Starting from April 2026, Microsoft reward points can be directly redeemed for Xbox game purchases without the need to go through gift cards.
For players who plan to buy an Xbox console to experience "GTA6", the time window is narrowing. Microsoft has previously announced that the price of all Xbox Series X/S consoles will be raised again starting from August 1.
