The final trailer for director Christopher Nolan's new film "The Odyssey" has been revealed. The film is scheduled to be released on July 17th in North America and August 14th in Mainland China. After a ten-year journey in a mythical epic, in which he rebelled against the gods and experienced hardships, the man wanted to return home.
Adapted from Homer's epic poem, it tells the story of Odysseus' arduous journey back home after the Trojan War, bearing the curse of the gods.
"The Odyssey" is the first movie to be shot 100% entirely with IMAX cameras. It is rated R and lasts 2 hours and 52 minutes.
This film is rated R in North America, with a production cost of US$250 million, making it one of the most expensive R-rated films in film history!
