A few days ago, a blogger posted a battery photo of the iPhone 18 Pro Max on a social platform. The manufacturer is Sunwanda Electronics Co., Ltd., and the battery capacity is marked as 5187mAh, which is somewhat different from the previously exposed 5235mAh data.

But even so, compared to the 5088mAh US version of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the battery capacity of the iPhone 18 Pro Max still broke Apple’s record and became the iPhone with the largest battery capacity in history.

However, shortly after the relevant information was released, the account of the blogger involved was banned, and it was widely speculated that this was related to Apple's complaint. Previously, iPhone information leaked by Tata Electronics went viral on social platforms, and many bloggers' accounts were banned. This incident seems to be a continuation of the same pattern.

It is reported that Sunwanda is one of Apple's core suppliers, mainly providing highly automated battery products for iPhone. Sunwoda was founded in 1997 and has been supplying batteries for iPhones since 2012. It has now expanded its business to multiple product lines such as iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and AirPods, and the scope of cooperation between the two parties continues to expand.

It is worth mentioning that since the iPhone 18 Pro Max will provide both an eSIM version and a physical card slot version, the battery capacity of the two versions is expected to be different. The US version uses a pure eSIM solution, which has more internal space and is expected to have a larger battery capacity.

In terms of hardware configuration, iPhone 18 Pro will be equipped with the A20 Pro chip for the first time. The chip uses a new WMCM packaging process, which tiles the processor core and memory chip horizontally on the same wafer-level interposer, allowing the processor to directly contact the VC heat sink. The heat is no longer blocked by the memory and can be directly conducted out, thereby greatly improving heat dissipation efficiency.

In addition, the iPhone 18 Pro is also equipped with Apple's self-developed C2 baseband chip, comes standard with 12GB of memory, and has a rear 48-megapixel triple camera. The main camera supports variable aperture. The new product is expected to be officially released in September.
