Windows Central reporters Jez Corden and Zac Brown talked about the future of Xbox in the latest podcast. They expect that the most optimistic situation for some of the Xbox studios is to find a buyer, but there are also some studios that may operate independently or be acquired by the individuals who originally sold the company.

"Starting next week, we're going to see that happen. We're going to see some studios operating independently, some studios being sold to publishers, and some smaller studios that may just close. But I expect there will be layoffs at all studios. I think every studio will be laid off, at least some of them."
However, according to them, Xbox may help some affected studios complete their already announced games.
Previously, it was reported that Ninja Thory, the developer of the "Hellblade" series, announced a new game "Senna" at the Xbox game conference. However, in fact, Ninja Thory had already learned the news before the announcement. The purpose of announcing the new game this time was to find potential buyers for Ninja Thory.
