In the latest stable version of Edge 150, Microsoft has officially opened support for login with Google accounts. Users can directly use Google accounts as Edge identity credentials to synchronize browser data such as bookmarks and history across devices.. In this feature update, the Edge 150 stable version has a new independent "Log in with Google account" option in the upper right corner of the browser below the profile avatar entrance. After the user completes the authorization, the Google account will directly serve as the identity of the current Edge profile. There is no need to register or bind a Microsoft account to enable complete cross-device synchronization capabilities.

In addition to one-click synchronization of bookmarks and other data, when accessing third-party websites that support Google joint login in Edge, you can directly call your logged-in Google identity for quick authorization, reducing repeated input steps.

Moreover, personal configuration files are completely run based on Google accounts, and it is no longer mandatory to establish or associate a Microsoft account, lowering the data migration threshold for migrating from Chrome to Edge.

Currently, this feature adopts a controlled progressive deployment (Controlled Rollout) strategy. The first batch of Edge 150 stable version users are open to Windows and macOS platforms, and the coverage will be gradually expanded in the future.
