According to media reports,China's polar research ship "Snow Dragon" officially arrived at the Great Wall Research Station in Antarctica on December 28, local time.It is understood that the "Snow Dragon" arrived at the Great Wall Station and will carry out unloading operations. According to the plan,This mission will unload materials and fuel, as well as transport fixed assets to be scrapped and some garbage back home.

If weather permits, all supplies will be transported using rubber dinghies as tenders.According to the plan, the unloading task is expected to last about 10 days.

It is reported that as China's largest polar research ship, the "Snow Dragon" is a Vitus Bering-class icebreaker completed by the Kherson Shipyard in Ukraine on March 25, 1993.

Since its first mission in 1994,The "Snow Dragon" has completed 31 Antarctic missions, covering all five oceans, and set many new records in China's navigation history.
