According to news on January 2, Elon Musk (Elon Musk) asked Youtube celebrity MrBeast to post video content directly on social media X. As a result, the latter responded sharply to this request. Fans of MrBeast recently left messages saying that they hope MrBeast can "post the video to this platform (X) as well." Musk, the owner of Platform X, immediately joined the discussion, writing: "Yes."

Bister responded: "My videos cost millions of dollars to make. Even if they had a billion views on X, I wouldn't get much money."

But Bister also added: "Once it really starts to make money, I will start testing (posting videos on X)."

X just started an advertising revenue sharing plan last year. Musk said at the time that the first payments to creators totaled $5 million, and some users reported making large sums at the time.

However, it was reported that in August last year, KSI, an Internet celebrity with more than 24 million subscribers on Youtube, revealed that he only earned US$1,590 a month on the X platform.

Bist has 225 million subscribers on YouTube and 25 million fans on the X platform.

In a 2022 interview with Rolling Stone, Bister said his videos usually cost around $1 million to produce.

"I could definitely do cheaper videos," he said. "But I just didn't want to. I wanted to push the boundaries and go bigger, and bigger."

Musk seems eager to win over Bister. Last year, Musk publicly spoke out for the YouTube star.

Bicester and X Platform did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
