The preview clip for the second season of the animated series "League of Legends: Battle of Two Cities" has been released and will be launched on Netflix in November 2024. "Arcane" is an online animation series produced by the American game company Riot Games. It is adapted from the company's video game "League of Legends" and was first announced at the game's 10th anniversary celebration.

Riot Games develops and produces, and Fortic Productions handles animation. It was originally scheduled to be released in 2020, but was postponed to 2021 due to the impact of the 2019 epidemic. It was later scheduled to be launched in May 2021, but was postponed again to November 6, 2021 to be broadcast on Netflix and Tencent Video. The first season has 9 episodes and is divided into three parts.

The animation tells the origin story of several characters in the League of Legends universe, Piltover and Zaun. Just like the game, the animation is aimed at audiences "over 16 years old" and contains more adult-themed plots. On November 20, 2021, Riot Games and Netflix announced that a second season is in development.
