Amazon has just released new EchoFrames audio glasses with built-in Alexa smart assistant at the September 2023 device launch. The new glasses are quite fashionable and have some technical improvements. One of the major technological improvements is the increase in battery life.
Amazon said at the press conference that the battery life of the new EchoFrames is 6 hours, compared with more than 3 hours of the first-generation EchoFrames.
EchoFrames also supports multi-point pairing, allowing users to easily pair devices between two devices, and can also set up a new feature to let the Alexa assistant help you find your glasses.
The new Echo Frames are also available in seven new frame styles, two of which are from Carrera Eyewear: Modern Rectangle, Rectangular, Round, Square, Cat Eye, Carrera Cruiser and Carrera Sprinter. They look more fashionable than the original style.
Prices for the new frames start at $269.99, but officials have yet to specify when they will actually be released. Amazon said customers looking to purchase can sign up on the EchoFrames' details page to receive pre-order notifications.
