Japanese media reported on the 6th that following the collision between a passenger plane and the Japan Coast Guard aircraft on the 2nd, a collision between a ground service vehicle and the Japan Coast Guard aircraft occurred at Tokyo Haneda Airport on the 4th, resulting in damage to the aircraft.

According to the "Yomiuri Shimbun" report, the collision occurred at around 18:00 on the 4th. A ground service lift truck collided with a police search and rescue aircraft parked on the tarmac. This aircraft is affiliated to the Coast Guard Haneda Air Base. The accident caused cracks on the top of the wing of the aircraft and it is temporarily unable to fly. No one was on the plane at the time of the incident.

Currently, Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is investigating the details of the accident.

According to reports, the crashed security search and rescue aircraft was modified from a business jet produced by the American Gulfstream Aerospace Company. The aircraft is equipped with high-performance radar and infrared search devices, has a long endurance, and can achieve long-distance flights between Japan and the United States. The Coast Guard installed two aircraft of the same type at Haneda Air Base in 2005.
