Apple is starting to prepare for the launch of Apple Vision Pro, with inventory arriving in distribution centers and stores in preparation for the February launch. Apple's upcoming mixed reality headset had always been planned to be available in the United States in early 2024. Although there were rumors that listing at the end of January was possible, it now seems that listing in February is also possible.
Mark Gurman wrote in Bloomberg's "PowerOn" newsletter on Sunday that the headset is being shipped in "small quantities" to warehouses across the United States before being shipped to the Apple Store. Sufficient supplies are believed to be available in February.
Apple is also expected to announce some form of news about Apple Vision Pro within the next week to grab some of the attention at the upcoming CES.
Continuing previous reports, Apple has begun calling two to four retail employees from each Apple store in the United States to Cupertino for new product training. Although the new product was not mentioned, it was "obviously" Vision Pro. According to the plan, these employees will return to their retail stores to provide Apple Vision Pro training to others.
