Recently, some players discovered that the official Weibo accounts of the Chinese servers of Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone have all opened VVIP memberships. VVIP is a creator-operated membership system launched by Weibo in July 2023.

This may be in preparation for the return of Blizzard games to the national server. It was previously reported that Blizzard and NetEase are about to reunite and operate the national server again. Moreover, NetEase also registered a new company in Shenzhen some time ago: NetEase (Shenzhen) Network Co., Ltd.

However, so far, Blizzard China and NetEase have not responded to these news. Whether the national server will return still needs to wait for the official announcement.
