Tesla recently announced that,Tesla Model Y made history in 2023, becoming the world's best-selling single model. This is the first time that an electric vehicle has topped the list of the world's best-selling models.Tesla officials stated that in 2023, Model Y global sales will surpass Toyota's Corolla and become the world's top passenger car sales leader;Moreover, the global average price of Model Y is nearly twice that of Toyota Corolla.
It is reported that Tesla Model Y surpassed Toyota Corolla in terms of sales in the first quarter of last year. After ranking first in global car sales in a single quarter, Model Y maintained this advantage throughout the year.
In the Chinese market, Tesla Model Y's annual sales reached 646,800 units, also taking the top sales position; surpassing BYD's Song Plus, Qin Plus, Yuan and Nissan Sylphy and other models.
In addition, as a main model that has been on the market for four years, Tesla Model Y may be updated in 2024.
