Previously, at 21:22 on May 10, 2023, Beijing time, the Long March-7 Yao-7 carrier rocket carrying the Tianzhou-6 cargo spacecraft was ignited and launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in China. The launch was successful.

At 5:16 on May 11, Beijing time, the Tianzhou-6 cargo spacecraft and the space station assembly completed the rendezvous and docking.
