Microsoft has officially released the recently exposed Copilot app for Android and iOS. As part of today's announcement of Microsoft's AI Assistant capabilities, the Copilot mobile app is now officially available.Microsoft said that the new Copilot apps for iOS and Android allow users to use Copilot's powerful features anytime and anywhere. Users can log in with their Microsoft account, sync chats across devices, continue previously started conversations, and use most of Copilot's "magical features" on a smaller screen.

Supported features also include access to GPT-4, DALLE-3 image generators, and uploading images from your phone into conversations with Copilot. Future new features and upgrades will also be available on mobile phones.

In addition to the dedicated Copilot app, Microsoft will soon launch an updated Microsoft 365 app. Users with a Microsoft account can access Copilot, interact with Copilot without leaving the app, and export conversations as Word or PDF documents. However, if you want to use Copilot directly in Word to draft documents or summarize emails in Outlook, you need to pay, because these functions are part of Copilot Pro, and the subscription fee is $20/month.

Other Copilot-related announcements include updates for business users (no more minimum seating requirements), topic-focused CopilotGPTs, and the upcoming ability to create your own CopilotGPTs using a set of simple prompts.
