According to reports, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman will visit South Korea this week and meet with Samsung’s chip business CEO. In addition, there are reports that he will also meet with SK Group Chairman Cui Taiyuan and executives from other startups to discuss plans to establish his own AI chip production network, thereby reducing OpenAI's dependence on Nvidia.

Last Wednesday, Altman said during the World Economic Forum that he planned to visit South Korea this week. He said at the time that several meetings had been arranged in South Korea. This time, he could only stay in South Korea for about 6 hours, so he hopes to stay longer next time and meet more people.

This time is also Ultraman's first visit to South Korea since June 2023. In a previous visit, he met with South Korean President Yoon Seok and expressed his willingness to cooperate with Korean startups, saying that Korean AI startups are fully prepared to compete on the international stage.
