AMD announced today that Ava Hahn has joined the company as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, succeeding Harry Wolin, who retired from AMD after 24 years. In this regard, AMD Chairman and CEO Dr. Lisa Su said, "I want to thank Harry for his role leading our legal, government relations and public affairs teams during the company's significant growth and transformation. Hahn previously served as chief legal officer at LamResearch, where he was responsible for global legal and government affairs. Prior to joining Lam, she led the legal departments of CA Technologies and Aruba Networks and served as general counsel at several technology and venture capital firms, including Kleiner Perkins. She holds a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a BA in history from the University of California, Berkeley.
