Abstract:
The huge advertisement for the Les Mercuriales building in Paris of "GTA6" follows the main composition of the game cover, but the two gun scenes have been deleted. The game is about to be launched on PS5 and Xbox platforms on November 19, and related promotions have appeared in different cities.

In the past two weeks, someone has continued to record the installation process of this advertisement online. After the advertisement was completed, players compared it with the original cover painting and found that the picture of Lucia and Jason in the same frame in the upper middle had changed: the original painting showed Lucia holding a gun, while the Paris advertisement deleted the gun and her gun-holding hand.
Another change is located in the lower center of the screen. In the original painting, a character has an assault rifle in front of him; in the Paris ad, the character has his hands raised instead of a gun in front of him. Both of these changes need to be compared with the original painting to be easily seen.

Kotaku speculates that the change may be related to the building owner's attitude towards the display of firearm images on the exterior wall, or may involve local advertising restrictions, but there is no confirmation from the building or regulatory authorities. Similar posters in New York and other places still feature firearms, and the changes to the Paris ad are not a uniform version adopted by all regions.
