Abstract:
Lexar releases Professional SILVER GO microSDXC UHS-I memory card for action cameras, drones, handhelds and content creators, available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB capacities. The card uses the V30 video speed level, which Lexar says can support up to 4K 60-frame video recording, and is also suitable for continuous photo shooting and handheld game expansion.

The official nominal reading speed is up to 250MB/s, and the writing speed varies depending on the capacity: the 256GB and 512GB versions are up to 180MB/s, and the 64GB and 128GB versions are up to 135MB/s. Lexar explains that the maximum reading speed needs to be achieved with the separately sold RW360 card reader; the actual speed will be affected by the equipment and usage conditions. The V30 level represents a sustained writing speed of at least 30MB/s, providing the lowest speed guarantee for video recording.
SILVER GO adopts the microSDXC UHS-I specification. Lexar said it has conducted compatibility tests for cameras and drones such as DJI, Insta360, GoPro, and handheld devices such as Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck. It should be noted that the official note is that it is only compatible with the original Nintendo Switch, not the Switch 2.

In terms of durability, the card is IPX7 waterproof and can be immersed in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. It can also withstand a drop of up to 1.5 meters, a 1500G impact, and is shockproof, antimagnetic, X-ray resistant and temperature resistant. The operating temperature range is minus 25 to 85 degrees Celsius, and the storage temperature is minus 40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The product also comes with the Lexar Recovery Tool data recovery tool and provides a limited lifetime warranty; in Germany and areas where lifetime warranty is not recognized, the warranty period is 10 years after purchase.
The card is already on sale on Amazon in the United States. The recommended retail prices are: US$34.99 for the 64GB version, US$54.99 for the 128GB version, US$84.99 for the 256GB version, and US$144.99 for the 512GB version.
