Abstract:
Many consumers reported that the 25th anniversary Xbox controller and other Xbox controllers had problems with the packaging becoming damp, damaged, or the wrong model being shipped during delivery. The current public information comes from buyers’ posts and comments, which is not enough to prove that there are systemic flaws in the relevant retailers’ distribution channels.

Social platform user Eden0032 said that when the Xbox platform 25th anniversary controller he purchased from British retailer Argos arrived, the outer packaging had been soaked by rain and damaged. According to his description, the device only arrived in a smaller gray packaging bag with no additional cushioning or waterproof protection.
Other consumers also shared similar situations in the comment area. One buyer said that after another Xbox controller purchased from Currys arrived, the left side of the box was obviously damaged; another consumer said that Walmart mistakenly shipped the anniversary controller they ordered into another model.

The existing information does not provide relevant order size, damage rate or internal logistics data of the retailer, and Argos has not yet responded to the post in question. Eden0032 stated that if it is confirmed that the handle itself is also damaged, it will continue to seek compensation from the retailer. For buyers who value collection packaging, they should promptly check the outer box and equipment when receiving the goods, and keep the images and order vouchers.
