Passersby in New York may notice that construction is taking place around the Apple Fifth Avenue Cube, where a giant Apple Vision Pro model is being built. Vision Pro will be released on February 2, and Apple is preparing the product for its launch in retail stores in a number of ways. Dedicated spaces have been prepared for in-store demonstrations, but some locations, like the Fifth Avenue store in New York, have added additional touches.

Photos taken by Rikki Altand show some of the ongoing construction. Apple's Fifth Avenue store appears to be installing an oversized Apple Vision Pro model that will be housed in a glass cube.

It's unclear whether other retail stores will feature similar decor, but that's not the only change. Inside the Apple store, a large area was sectioned off with a simple message: "Get ready. Great things are about to happen."

Apple retail stores will open early on February 2 to hold the Apple Vision Pro conference. Users who book or schedule a demo will have the opportunity to experience the product for 25 minutes.

VisionPro is a unique product from Apple for many reasons. The product must fit the user for proper comfort, so there are a variety of light sealing accessories to choose from.

Retail staff must also receive Apple VisionPro try-on and demonstration training. Unlike selling a simple smartphone, customers need special guidance and care when trying out the headphones.

Vision Pro starts at $3,499, and interested users can still purchase some models at local Apple Store retail stores.
