Intel recently released a new version of the Wi-Fi7 wireless network card driver, adding new features and fixing known bugs, but unfortunately, it still cannot cope with AMD systems. The version number of the new driver is 23.30.0 under Windows 10/1164 bit, and the version number under Windows 1032 bit is 22.160.0.
The new driver also enhances QOS management, enhances power management based on network delay, and fixes known issues such as blue screens, no network, and inability to connect to Miracast on some systems.
It is particularly worth mentioning that after updating the driver, the newly released BE200 and BE202 network cards support full 6GHz bandwidth, 320MHz bandwidth, and 4KQAM modulation, but their functions will be limited under Windows 10.
but,BE200 and BE202 have been incompatible with AMD systems since their release and cannot be used normally. However, there is no problem on 12th generation Core and newer Intel platforms.
Intel has never mentioned compatibility issues with AMD platforms in its product specifications, and this driver update does not touch on this aspect at all.
AMD also remained silent and never spoke out. Therefore, if you are using an AMD platform and want to upgrade to Wi-Fi7, it is best to avoid Intel’s wireless network card. You can choose Qualcomm's QCNM865, or MediaTek's MT7927, RZ738.
