Microsoft launches Xbox Mastercard - offering more benefits to gamers

Microsoft today announced that it has partnered with co-branded credit card issuer Barclays US Consumer Bank to launch the Xbox Mastercard credit card with no annual fee1. With the Xbox Mastercard credit card, players can earn points through everyday purchases that can be redeemed for games and add-on services on xbox.com.

TAGPH 11The Xbox Mastercard credit card will be available exclusively to Xbox Insiders in the 50 states in the United States starting on September 21, and will be available to all Xbox players in the 50 states in the United States in 2024.

Using the Xbox Mastercard, players can receive card points for every US$1 spent, including: TA GPH16

Xbox and Microsoft - Earn 5x Card Points on qualifying purchases at the Microsoft Store.

Streaming Services – Earn 3x Card Points on eligible streaming services like Netflix and Disney+.

Food Delivery – Earn 3x loyalty points on eligible food delivery services like Grubhub and DoorDash.

Daily Spending - Earn 1x membership card points on all other daily purchases.

Members can also enjoy more benefits, including:

Reward 5,000 membership card points (worth US$50) after the first purchase.

After the first purchase, new GamePass members can receive three months of Xbox GamePass Ultimate. If they are already a GamePass member, they can easily give it to a friend to play with.

You can choose one of five iconic designs as your membership card, and you can also personalize your game account.

Flexible use of contactless payments and digital wallets.

Free online access to cardholders’ FICO credit scores, allowing users to know their credit scores at any time and receive alerts when their scores change.

$0 in fraud liability protection so cardholders are not responsible for their unauthorized charges.
