According to a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), the Tesla Cybertruck finally has a delivery date. While releasing its third-quarter earnings today, Tesla also announced that the long-delayed Cybertruck electric pickup truck will be delivered for the first time on November 30 at the company's Gigafactory in Austin, Texas.

Over the past few months, the Cybertruck has started appearing on roads, all labeled RC for testing or prototype use. The company had previously said it would launch deliveries in the third quarter, but that never happened.

Earlier this year, Tesla said the Cybertruck would go into limited production this summer, with mass production starting in 2024. Tesla will apparently be able to roll out at least one Cybertruck at the factory in July.

The Cybertruck was originally announced in 2019, but its production was delayed multiple times during the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company failed to meet its original trial production target for 2021.

Since the initial announcement, other automakers have followed suit with electric pickup trucks of their own, including Ford's F-150 Lightning and Rivian's R1T. While the Cybertruck's delays and its massive windshield wipers still generate widespread interest, it still seems unrealistic that it might make it into the final design.
