Micron Technology today announced that its Low Power Double Data Rate 5X (LPDDR5X) memory, the industry’s only 1-beta mobile-optimized memory, is now shipping production samples for use with Qualcomm Technologies’ latest flagship mobile platform, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Micron LPDDR5X operates at the world’s fastest speed class of 9.6 gigabits per second (Gbps), providing the mobile ecosystem with the fast performance needed to unleash generative artificial intelligence (AI) at the edge. Micron LPDDR5X adopts industry-leading innovative 1β process node technology and can also provide advanced power-saving features for mobile users.
