Turkish Airlines is in negotiations with Airbus to purchase 355 Airbus aircraft. If finalized, it would be the largest order in Airbus' history. In addition to the order for 10 A350-900 aircraft announced in January, the airline's management met with Airbus officials in Istanbul to discuss the purchase of an additional 345 aircraft, Turkey's state-run Anadolu news agency reported.
This order includes 75 A350-900 aircraft, 15 A350-1000 aircraft, 5 A350F freighter aircraft and 250 A321NEO aircraft.
Turkish Airlines is also in talks with engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce to provide maintenance services and spare engines for the A350 wide-body jets.
