Microsoft has released several changes to its artificial intelligence chatbot (renamed in full force) to "simplify the user experience and make Copilot easier to use for everyone." Starting today, BingChat is renamed Copilot. In terms of correspondence, BingChatEnterprise is CopilotPro, Microsoft365Copilot is now CopilotforMicrosoft365, and MicrosoftSalesCopilot has become CopilotforSalest.
CopilotPro will be available in Microsoft 365 F3, E3, E5, Business Premium and Business Standard starting December 1, 2023. Other customers who want CopilotPro functionality can get it for $5/month. Copilot Pro offers the same benefits as regular Copilot, plus commercial data protection to ensure Microsoft cannot access or use your data for AI training.
In response to a request to retire the Bing Chat branding, Microsoft said: "Bing remains a well-known brand and technology force that powers many Copilot experiences while continuing to be a leader in the search industry."
In addition to the new name, Microsoft also released Copilot Studio and the role-based Copilot for Service. Copilot Studio allows customers to connect more data using pre-built or custom plug-ins, create personalized workflows, and control the experience across their organization using purpose-built IT tools.

Copilot for Microsoft 365 also adds several new features to improve user productivity. You can make it more personal with new customization options like visualizing data and bullet points within paragraphs. Copilot in Teams can answer questions about a meeting without retaining a record of the interaction after the meeting ends.
Copilot in Outlook can help users prepare meeting invitations, related emails and necessary documents and generate comprehensive summaries. Additionally, it creates thread summaries and extracts key information.
Copilot for other Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint can help quickly see changes made by others to shared documents, gain deeper insights, and extract data from the web into Excel, and can also connect to corporate media libraries for use in PowerPoint presentations.
