Huawei insiders recently revealed that Hongmeng developers have registered over 10,000 new registrations.Recently, many top Internet applications have reached cooperation with Huawei to start the development of Hongmeng native applications and open relevant job recruitment, including Sina, Meituan, Qunar, etc. It is reported that Huawei officially announced HarmonyOSNEXT in September this year and announced that it is no longer compatible with Android applications.
The blogger has previously tested that the Android APK file cannot be installed, and it will prompt "This file cannot be opened."
The HarmonyOSNEXT system base is fully self-developed, cutting off the traditional AOSP code, and only supporting Harmony kernel and Harmony system applications.
Since the news was announced, the process of Hongmeng native applications has been officially launched. As the third largest system after iOS and Android, companies and developers in finance, travel, social networking and other fields have successively announced to join the Hongmeng ecosystem.
Zhu Yonggang, President of Huawei Terminal Cloud Services, previously predicted that the number of upgraded users of the HarmonyOS NEXT developer preview version will exceed 100 million in the next year, which means that more and more Harmony native applications will be launched in the future.
It is worth mentioning that Hongmeng’s unique distributed technology allows developers to develop once and deploy on multiple terminals, allowing applications to flow seamlessly on mobile phones, tablets, cars and other devices.
