Yingren Technology released a PCIe4.0 SSD main control chip for the consumer field - IG5222 at the MemoryS2025 Summit. This chip adopts a DRAMless design and supports up to 8TB capacity, bringing a new technological breakthrough to the storage market.
IG5222 is based on advanced hardware acceleration design. The highest sequential read/write speed reaches 7400MB/s and 6800MB/s respectively, and the highest random read/write speed is 1200KIOPs, which can meet the needs of high-performance computing and storage.
At the same time, its unique dynamic power management algorithm increases the energy efficiency ratio by 20%, further optimizing the battery life of the device.
IG5222 fully supports DLRM (dynamic PCIe link management technology) to ensure stable operation in various link environments. In addition, it also supports the NVMe2.0 protocol, optimizes HMB (host memory buffer) performance, and meets the real-time loading requirements of AI models.
In terms of data reliability, IG5222 adopts the third-generation 4KLDPCECC technology independently developed by Yingren Technology, which greatly improves the ability to persist data and provides better reliability, durability and performance for SSD.
