MINI announced that the new MINICO OPER Cabrio convertible and its John COOPER Works version will soon arrive in stores. This is also the first time that the new MINI JC W Cabrio will enter the Chinese market.

It is reported that the new MINICO OPERCabrio body adopts the iconic three-stage contrasting design. The entire series is equipped with a gray Union Flag soft top as standard. When the convertible is fully opened, the Union Flag pattern and the classic Union Flag taillights complement each other. The new car is available in 11 colors.

Its fully automatic fabric soft top has two opening modes. It only takes 18 seconds to open and 15 seconds to close at speeds below 30km/h. It can be opened as a sunroof at any speed, with a stroke of 40 centimeters.

The round OLED central control screen in the car retains the "convertible timer" function to record the convertible time and weather information.

Optional wind deflectors are available behind the driver and passenger seats, an anti-rollover protection system is integrated behind the rear headrests, and the chassis and door panel structures have been reinforced.

The perforated "M" pattern on the seats, the raised central storage area, the thick central armrest, etc. all bear MINI's exclusive stamp.

The tailgate inherits the classic Mini design and can be folded flat to serve as a tail stool. When the soft top is closed, the trunk capacity is expanded from 160 liters to 215 liters.

In terms of power, the new MINICOOPERS convertible is equipped with the BMW Group B48 engine.The maximum power is 150 kilowatts/204 horsepower, the peak torque is 300 N·m, it only takes 6.9 seconds to accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour, and the top speed is 230 kilometers per hour.

The new MINI JC W Cabrio uses power technology derived from BMW M.The engine has a maximum power of 170 kilowatts/231 horsepower, a peak torque of 380 N·m, and can accelerate from 100 kilometers to 100 kilometers in just 6.4 seconds.
