According to reports, my country used the Long March 3B carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center to accurately deliver the Tianlian-204 satellite into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.As my country's second-generation geosynchronous orbit data relay satellite, Tianlian-204 has multiple functions, including providing all-weather data relay and measurement and control services for manned spacecraft such as the Shenzhou spacecraft and the space station, providing high-speed data relay transmission for medium and low orbit resource satellites, and providing key measurement and control support for various types of spacecraft launches.

Aerospace experts pointed out that the inclusion of the Tianlian-2 04 satellite will significantly improve the coverage and service efficiency of my country's space information network. Its data transmission rate and system reliability will be significantly improved compared with the first-generation products, providing important support for the construction of my country's space infrastructure.

This mission is the 565th flight of the Long March series of launch vehicles.
