U.S. President Trump issued a statement stating that if iPhones sold in the United States are not produced and manufactured in the United States, a tariff of at least 25% will be imposed.
Trump said he had long told Apple CEO Tim Cook that he hoped iPhones sold in the United States would be made and produced in the United States, not India or anywhere else.
