WeChat has earlier tested the LiveCommunicationKit module to implement lock screen notifications for voice or video calls and can answer them directly. Now Tencent QQ has also followed up on this feature. Users only need to turn on the quick pop-up window in the settings to answer.

The pseudo-CallKit mentioned in the title is that domestic applications cannot directly use the CallKit function due to various reasons. This function can be played in full screen when there is an audio or video call and the user can click to answer it, which is similar to the state when answering a call.

Another convenient aspect of CallKit is that even if there is no phone call, the recent call information can be displayed in the recent call history of the phone application. These must use CallKit, and using LiveCommunicationKit can only be said to be slightly more convenient.

The main effect achieved by Tencent QQ for iOS using LiveCommunicationKit is that when someone contacts you through QQ audio and video, a prompt will appear in the notification center and can be clicked. After clicking, you can answer the call directly. At this time, there is no need to open Tencent QQ first and then click the answer button.

Generally speaking, although LiveCommunicationKit is not as good as CallKit, it is still slightly more convenient than now. The international version of WeChat, namely WeChat, also supports CallKit when used in China. I wonder if Tencent QQ will also have the opportunity to switch to CallKit in the future.
