The "Harry Potter" live-action series has started filming at Leavesden Studios in London, England. The production plan is to adapt each "Harry Potter" book into a full-season TV series. The first season is expected to be broadcast in 2027.

The new "Harry Potter" series has many children as actors, including three young leads. The crew built a school for the young actors to ensure that they can go to school while filming for perhaps 10 years in the future (the show plans to film 10 seasons).
The school, located at Warner Bros Studios Livesden Studios and overseen by Three Rivers District Council, can accommodate up to 600 pupils. About 150 children are expected to attend classes each day, with capacity to accommodate four times that number during peak periods. Stars of previous "Harry Potter" movies also struggled to balance filming with their studies.

The school is open Monday through Friday at 5:30 a.m. and closes at 8:30 p.m. to accommodate academic work between daytime and evening shoots. Children, including core stars, can take classes here and participate in filming as needed, and the course content will change in due course.
The "Harry Potter" live-action series has announced many actors, including many children. For example, the lead actor "Harry" Dominic McLaughlin is 11 years old.
