Microsoft's official certified account X@Microsoft Surface released a promotional poster at 12:00 on September 7, 2025. The accompanying text of this promotional poster highlights the functions provided by Surface tablets, allowing users to read, highlight, summarize, etc. on Surface.

However, what is incomprehensible is that the person who made the promotional poster seemed to have directly moved the screenshot of Apple's iPadOS running, that is, it is a Microsoft Surface case, which is actually the iPadOS system.

You can tell from the top, left, and bottom of the device picture that this is iPadOS. After all, Surface cannot run iPadOS, so obviously this is not a model posing photo made by Microsoft itself, but a piece of piecing together.

What’s interesting is that this promotional material has not been deleted for more than 24 hours after it was posted. Although someone has mentioned in the X/Twitter community notes that this is running iPadOS system, the tweet has still not been deleted. It is estimated that the employees responsible for operating the account were still on weekends and did not notice it.

It is unclear whether this is material produced by Microsoft's outsourcing company or Microsoft's own team, but it is still an account with 600,000 followers, so the content should be reviewed before publishing.
