It was previously reported that Lenovo plans to showcase a foldable handheld concept product called "Legion Go Fold" at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona in early March. Today, the well-known whistleblower evleaks once again released new information on the social platform X, exposing the appearance and name of a Lenovo concept device called "ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept".
The leak itself does not come with detailed specifications, but judging from the name "Modular" and the accompanying renderings, the product form and design ideas of this device are quite clear.

As can be seen from the renderings, this ThinkBook concept machine adopts the traditional clamshell notebook shape as a whole, but in the palm rest area where the keyboard is usually placed, Lenovo has instead reserved a whole space for replaceable modules. The leaked pictures show at least two lower module forms: one is a conventional notebook keyboard module, and the other is a second display module with the same size as the main screen on the upper cover, thus achieving different combinations on the same body.
This design idea is considered an extension and simplification of multi-screen devices such as the ThinkBook Flip previously launched by Lenovo. Unlike the complex structure that relies on flexible OLED panels to achieve folding and dual screens, the ThinkBook Modular AI PC Concept is more like using standard rigid screens and replaceable modules to achieve similar multi-screen display and use space effects at a more controllable cost. It is also expected to improve the ergonomic performance of the entire machine.

In actual usage scenarios, the modular structure of the concept machine also provides users with greater freedom. For example, users can only carry the upper cover main screen and conventional keyboard module during daily travel to obtain an experience similar to that of a traditional notebook; if they need a larger information display area or creative space, they can choose to pair it with upper and lower dual screens and connect an external mechanical keyboard and mouse to obtain a more comfortable ergonomic posture and a better input experience.
Currently, no further explanation has been given regarding the hardware specifications, AI acceleration capabilities, module type expansion plans and actual mass production possibilities of this ThinkBook modular AI PC concept machine. Considering that Lenovo has previously announced that it will expand its accessories system such as Magic Bay, as well as the recent frequent trends related to AI PCs and new forms of notebooks, it is not ruled out that this concept will become an important "vane" product for Lenovo to demonstrate the direction of modular AI PCs at this MWC. Specific details have yet to be officially announced during the conference.
