The Hollywood science fiction masterpiece "Dune 2" officially announced today that it will be released in mainland China on March 8, one week later than March 1 in North America.The film continues to star Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Rebecca Ferguson, with Florence Pugh joining the cast as Princess Ileran, Austin Butler as Fede Rosa, Léa Seydoux as Madame Maggot, and Christopher Walken as the Padish Emperor Shadam IV.

Denis Villeneuve returns to direct and write, and Hans Zimmer returns to score.

The story “will explore Paul’s journey into the Great Mystery, as he joins forces with Cheni and the Fremen to seek vengeance against those who conspired to destroy his family.

Paul must decide between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, and try to prevent a horrific future that only he can foresee."

According to the trailer, Paul also conquered the 400-meter "Lord of the Desert" sandworm, successfully rode the sandworm through the desert, and launched attacks on the enemy.
