Apple AI seems to call Baidu’s big model

According to netizens’ short experience, Apple AI seems to have invoked Baidu’s large AI model.

However, Bloomberg’s well-known Apple reporter Mark Gurman quickly clarified that this was a misoperation by Apple, and Apple AI has not yet received approval from Chinese regulatory authorities. Apple has taken AI offline in China.

Gurman's clarification

"Apple Intelligence accidentally went online due to misoperation in China. This feature has been ready for months, but Apple has not yet received regulatory approval. It will not be launched soon, and this matter has nothing to do with the iOS 26.5 beta version. Apple has taken the feature offline." Gurman said.
