Recently, in Qingdao, Shandong Province, an off-road vehicle was drifting on the beach when it suddenly encountered high tide and got trapped.According to eyewitnesses of the incident, a car owner rashly drove into a waterlogged curve and the vehicle quickly got into trouble.A forklift came to the scene for rescue, but the two parties failed to reach an agreement due to the rescue fee of 1,000 yuan.

Within a few seconds of the dispute, the tide rose rapidly and the vehicle was instantly submerged.

Personnel involved in the rescue said that after the vehicle was flooded, the owner anxiously asked for help at a high price. The initial rescue quote was as high as 10,000 yuan.Fortunately, a diving enthusiast took the initiative to go into the water to help secure the rope, and the final rescue cost was negotiated to 8,000 yuan.

During the rescue process, an accident occurred when the rope broke. The divers went into the water again and re-fixed it before successfully towing the vehicle ashore.

Divers involved in the rescue said it was close to 7pm when the vehicle was pulled ashore, during the highest tide of the day.Huangdao police staff responded that the police had been dispatched to handle the incident and the car owner was not injured.

It is reported that vehicles are clearly prohibited from entering and playing in the area where the incident occurred, and seawater is highly corrosive and will cause serious damage to the vehicle chassis, circuit system and paint.

Here’s a reminder: The soft sand on the seaside may seem flat, but in fact it is soft and prone to sinking and contains hidden dangers that even hard-core off-road equipment cannot handle. Tides change rapidly, so do not risk driving into dangerous areas to avoid greater losses due to momentary negligence.
