Google today announced a new Googlebook notebook, oriented towards the Gemini AI era. The operating system integrates ChromeOS and Android. Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo will launch it this fall. Google did not disclose the hardware configuration of the Googlebook, especially the processor, but Intel officially stood up and announced that it was extremely excited to reach a new cooperation with Google.

Intel also did not mention the specific processor used in Googlebook. There is a high probability that it will be the third-generation Core code-named Wildcat Lake., the positioning matches very well.

The third generation Core uses the same 18A process and architecture as the third generation Core Ultra, with up to 2P+4LPE 6 CPU cores, 2 Xe3 GPU cores, NPU 5 engines, and supports DDR5-6400/LPDDR5X-7467 memory, 6 PCIe 4.0 lanes, 2 Thunderbolt 4, 2 USB 3.2 and 8 USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

but,Intel is not alone in its success. Googlebook also uses processors from Qualcomm and MediaTek, which spans the two camps of x86 and Arm.

Obviously, Google wants to create a successful notebook product line after Chromebook, and it is bound to become the mortal enemy of Apple's MacBook Neo.
