It is reported that,Xiaomi Automobile's smart driving hardware includes dual Orin chips, 1 lidar, 11 cameras, 3 millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, etc., which can achieve zero takeover of city navigation, valet parking, mechanical garage parking, etc.


Official introduction,Xiaomi uses a full-stack self-developed underlying algorithm technology for intelligent driving, equipped with an embodied intelligence engine and a self-supervised data engine.

Among them, the embodied intelligence engine includes end-to-end perception decision-making large model, adaptive zoom BEV, road large model, super-resolution occupancy network, real-time environment modeling, behavior prediction model, interactive game model, spatio-temporal joint decision-making, etc.

At the same time, Xiaomi Smart Driving provides a full-scenario functional experience, such as smart interaction, smart safety, smart driving, smart parking, etc.

Xiaomi emphasizes that intelligent driving of Xiaomi cars is smarter and safer.



In terms of smart parking, Xiaomi Motors has an unmanned valet parking function. Their test team also challenged the Internet celebrity 7-story parking building in Dongguan.

After turning on the valet parking function, the tester got out of the car.The vehicle starts to park on its own and can easily pass through large curvatures. When encountering an oncoming vehicle, the vehicle can also reverse to give way.

Finally, after continuously driving through the seven-story rotating road, the vehicle reached the roof, automatically found a parking space and parked successfully; moreover, the vehicle also supports mobile phone summoning, and the vehicle can drive out of the parking space on its own.

In addition, the parking system of Xiaomi smart driving system,It also supports automatic parking in mechanical parking spaces, and the parking space width has reached the industry’s narrowest level of 2 meters.

According to reports, Xiaomi’s smart driving adopts full-stack self-developed smart driving technology, with three major technologies including zoom BEV, road large model, and super-resolution occupancy network.

Lei Jun introduced that by the end of 2024, Xiaomi will open NOA high-end intelligent driving in urban areas in 100 cities. Xiaomi intelligent driving will enter the first echelon in 2024, and its subsequent goal is to be the first in the industry!


The video released by Lei Jun shows,Xiaomi Auto successfully parked automatically in a mechanical parking space with a width of only 2.05 meters, and the parking was very standard, leaving 5cm of space on both sides.

For experienced drivers, it is not easy to park at such a standard in such a narrow parking space.

Lei Jun said that this is due to the fact that Xiaomi's Pilot series uses Xiaomi's self-developed end-to-end perception and decision-making model, which is also the first time in the world that it has been used in mass-produced cars.
