The latest certification documents related to Apple's supply chain seem to have leaked the battery capacities of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in advance: the former's Chinese version is 4056mAh, the US version is 4288mAh, and the latter's 5391mAh and 5567mAh respectively, both higher than the iPhone 17 Pro series.

According to reports, this information comes from new certification records in China’s C3 database and was discovered by Weibo whistleblower “Digital Chat Station”; although the model name is not directly stated in the document, it is generally believed that it corresponds to the iPhone 18 Pro series.
From the comparative data, the improvement of iPhone 18 Pro compared to iPhone 17 Pro is not large, but the battery increase of iPhone 18 Pro Max is more obvious, close to 500mAh, which means that the battery life performance may be more intuitively improved.
The article also pointed out that the capacity of the Chinese version is different from that of the US version. The main reason is that the US version has adopted an eSIM-only design since the iPhone 14 series and no longer retains a physical SIM card slot, so the internal space can be used to put in a larger battery.
In addition, the certification document also shows the relevant battery model, energy data and charging limit voltage, and indicates that its validity period extends to May or June 2031.
Earlier, Digital Chat Station had released similar figures, and another supply chain news mentioned that the iPhone 18 Pro Max may be in the 5000mAh range, and use the 2nm process A20 Pro chip to bring more obvious battery life improvements.
Based on current rumors, the iPhone 18 Pro series may also be equipped with a smaller Dynamic Island, a variable aperture main camera, and a C2 modem outside the United States. It is expected to be unveiled in September together with Apple's first folding screen iPhone.
