Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in an interview that China is strong in the fields of robotics and AI and "is likely to become a leader at some point in the future."Musk specifically mentioned the latest progress in China's large AI model. He was impressed by the Kimi K3 model just released by Dark Side of the Moon.
Musk believes that China has a decisive advantage in the AI competition, among which power supply capacity is a key factor.According to his estimates, China's power generation may reach three times that of the United States in 2026, enough to support the operation of energy-intensive AI data centers.
He also predicted that China would eventually be able to overcome the shortage of advanced chips caused by U.S. export controls through independent research and development of photolithography machines. Musk said China is "closer than most people think" to solving the problem of advanced lithography technology.
